衝撃的なスタビライザー機能付きのコンデジカメラSONY HX5V。まるでステディカムだ。暗闇からの自動ゲイン調整も凄い。@onebeatキッチンで少し遊んでみた。一度HX5Vで動画を撮影するとS90で動画をとろうとは思わなくなるかも。しかしS90はこのコンパクトさでRAWにも対応している。この2台で幅広い動画と静止画の撮影が可能。

Com­par­ing Apple and Oranges is easy. They look dif­fer­ent and taste dif­fer­ent, but when you put 2 com­pact dig­i­tal cam­eras together next to each other, it is vir­tu­ally imp­posi­ble to know which does what and how well. Today I had the chance to com­pare the new Sony DSC-HX5 and the Canon S90. Even with the com­pact size, the Canon S90 shoots pic­tures in RAW for­mat, allow­ing you to cor­rect wihite bal­ance and other things AFTER you shoot. It has a larger CCD sized at 1/1.7CCD vs HX5‘s 1/2.4CMOS. They both have 10 mega pixel.

While HX5 excels at video, the S90 is great for still shots. Armed with state of the art sta­bi­lizer gyro thing, the S90 and many com­pact dig­i­tal cam­eras that shoot video can­not come close to the HX5’s sta­bi­liza­tion func­tion. Just see the video on the bottom.

容積ではCanonが気持ち小さいが、ポケット内では違いはゼロ。

似た操作スイッチと液晶。Canonの方が凹凸が少なく誤作操作の可能性が少ない。

レンズ開速度はほぼ同じ。閉速度はSonyが自社の開より遅く、Canonよりワンテンポ遅い。
