衝撃的なスタビライザー機能付きのコンデジカメラSONY HX5V。まるでステディカムだ。暗闇からの自動ゲイン調整も凄い。@onebeatキッチンで少し遊んでみた。一度HX5Vで動画を撮影するとS90で動画をとろうとは思わなくなるかも。しかしS90はこのコンパクトさでRAWにも対応している。この2台で幅広い動画と静止画の撮影が可能。

Comparing Apple and Oranges is easy. They look different and taste different, but when you put 2 compact digital cameras together next to each other, it is virtually impposible to know which does what and how well. Today I had the chance to compare the new Sony DSC-HX5 and the Canon S90. Even with the compact size, the Canon S90 shoots pictures in RAW format, allowing you to correct wihite balance and other things AFTER you shoot. It has a larger CCD sized at 1/1.7CCD vs HX5‘s 1/2.4CMOS. They both have 10 mega pixel.

While HX5 excels at video, the S90 is great for still shots. Armed with state of the art stabilizer gyro thing, the S90 and many compact digital cameras that shoot video cannot come close to the HX5’s stabilization function. Just see the video on the bottom.

容積ではCanonが気持ち小さいが、ポケット内では違いはゼロ。

似た操作スイッチと液晶。Canonの方が凹凸が少なく誤作操作の可能性が少ない。

レンズ開速度はほぼ同じ。閉速度はSonyが自社の開より遅く、Canonよりワンテンポ遅い。

過酷な階段やランニングで映像を試し取り、スプリットスクリーンで比較。HX5Vは光学式ジャイロスタビ＆モーションセンサーとGPS付き。S90と値段も変わらない。HX5Vのスタビライザー効果をビデオで見てください。
